Bournemouth Student Lettings How To Beat The Sunday Blues

1. Plan out your day, the night before!

Allow for breaks and a break isn't just stopping work for 5 minutes, sitting at your desk and scrolling through your phone. Get up from your desk and do something outside of your workspace. This will give your brain a second to recharge and you'll be able to get the most out of studying.

2. Don't put too much pressure on yourself!

No one is perfect therefore don't strive to be.

If you fall off your plan for the day, don't throw it all away and give up. Take some time, reflect, get outside for some exercise and pick up from where you left off.

At the end of the day, don't kick yourself for work not done, look at the work you have done and be proud.

Being a student is hard.

3. Do the more challenging tasks before lunch.

Doing these tasks first should make them feel less daunting as your brain will be fresh from a nights sleep. By scheduling your work this way, you'll be able to be more productive and you'll feel more in control of your time.

4. Set that alarm! ⏰

Sometimes the best way to beat those Monday Blues is to start early. Don't let yourself have that chance to be lazy.

Setting that alarm will start your day right.

Just because you set that alarm, it doesn't mean you have to get up and hit the books straight away. Even if you get up and start your day off with a walk before beginning your work, it will still make you get up and get the most out of your day.

5. Stop multi - tasking

Stop trying to do multiple things at once! This could cause you to become overwhelmed and burn out.

Focus on one task at a time and work your way through the list.

After all, slow and steady wins the race.
